Can I purchase peptides without an exam?

An exam is required because peptides can strongly impact the body, and it's important to ensure they’re suitable for the individual’s health needs. The exam helps assess overall health, identify risks or conditions, and ensure safe, effective use of peptides. This also allows the provider to customize the treatment for the best outcome and safety.

Why do the prices of different peptide forms (pills, injectables, sublingual) vary so much?

The price difference between peptide forms (pills, injectables, and sublingual) is largely due to bioavailability, which refers to how much of the peptide actually enters the bloodstream and becomes effective.

Injectables and sublingual forms have higher bioavailability because they bypass the digestive system, allowing the peptide to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream. This makes them more effective and ensures that a higher percentage of the peptide reaches its target.

On the other hand, pills are cheaper but less efficient. When taken orally, peptides must pass through the digestive system, where digestive enzymes and stomach acids break down a significant portion of the peptide before it can be absorbed. As a result, much of the peptide is wasted, and the effectiveness is reduced, making pills less cost-effective despite their lower price.

In summary, paying more for injectables or sublingual peptides often provides better results, as they deliver a higher concentration of the active ingredient to the body compared to pills.

What is NAD+?

NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in all living cells, crucial for energy production and metabolism. It helps convert food into energy, supports DNA repair, and plays a role in cellular processes that influence aging and overall health.

Role in Metabolism: NAD is essential for converting nutrients into energy through processes like glycolysis and the citric acid cycle. It helps shuttle electrons in the mitochondria, which is where most of our energy production occurs.

Cellular Repair: NAD is involved in activating enzymes called sirtuins, which are important for DNA repair and maintaining genomic stability. This role is linked to aging and longevity.

Regulation of Cellular Processes: It helps regulate various cellular processes, including apoptosis (programmed cell death), inflammation, and stress responses.

Forms of NAD: NAD exists in two forms—NAD+ (the oxidized form) and NADH (the reduced form). The balance between these forms is crucial for many biological processes.

Supplementation and Benefits: Some people take NAD supplements or undergo IV therapy to boost energy levels, enhance cognitive function, and support recovery from exercise or illness.

Natural Sources: NAD can be synthesized in the body from dietary sources like vitamin B3 (niacin) found in foods such as meat, fish, and whole grains.

Overall, NAD is vital for maintaining cellular health and energy production, making it a key player in overall well-being. If you have more specific questions, feel free to ask!

What are benefits of NAD+?

NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) can be a game changer for your health and wellness. Here are some compelling reasons to consider it:

Energy Boost: NAD plays a crucial role in energy production at the cellular level. Many people report feeling more energized and alert after an IV session.

Enhanced Recovery: Whether you’re recovering from intense workouts, illness, or simply a busy week, NAD can help speed up recovery by supporting cellular repair and reducing inflammation.

Cognitive Clarity: NAD has been linked to improved cognitive function. Many users experience better focus, enhanced mental clarity, and sharper memory.

Mood Support: Some studies suggest that NAD may help improve mood and reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. It supports neurotransmitter balance, which can lead to better emotional health.

Anti-Aging Benefits: NAD is involved in the body's natural repair processes, which can have anti-aging effects. It helps maintain cellular health, potentially slowing down the aging process.

Convenient and Fast-Acting: IV therapy delivers NAD directly into your bloodstream, allowing for quicker absorption and more immediate effects compared to oral supplements.
